In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) how and when you eat is as important as what you eat. At Clover Acupuncture & Wellness, we offer dietary recommendations which correlate to each client’s unique health pattern according to TCM. We never offer blanketed advice to follow any particular “diet.”

Chinese Medicine is an ancient medicine. It follows nature and food offers a great example of how best to be in alignment with nature. The clues are all around us! For example, walnuts are a powerful brain builder so it’s no surprise that they resemble a brain. Kidney beans truly are beneficial to the kidneys. Nature doesn’t make mistakes. We only have to follow the clues presented to us. Another important food recommendation is to eat for the season and environment. There is a reason we crave hearty, warming foods in winter.
